Correct Key

Why is it absolutely necessary to write melodies in the correct music key? And why do most computer music producers not know the basics of music theory, which results in long-term experimenting with unsuccessful results?

- No DJ will play your music unless it is written in the correct music key!
- It is not possible to mix 2 songs with different or incorrect keys (some notes are not in the selected music key scale).
- Even non-musicians hear and feel that something is wrong if your melody is not in key or some notes are out of the key scale — they feel chaos and an unpleasant impression instead of harmony.

What is a music key / scale? In modern music theory the key of a piece is the group of pitches, or scale, that forms the basis of a composition — in classical and Western pop music, as well as electronic dance music from trance to house, psytrance to DnB, hitech, trap, chillout, techno or any genre with melodies or melodic basslines. For example, in Major A you can use only C, D, D#, F, G, A, A#; any other notes will be out of scale and the melody will be inharmonic.
